The Powow VPP has no hidden charges, is retailer independent (so you can keep or change your energy provider or plan whenever you want).

- You live in NSW, SA, VIC, QLD or ACT
- You have a compatible Hinen or Sigenergy solar battery and inverter installed at your property.
- You must have a Powow meter installed and connected to the internet. If you are unsure, please reach out to your installer to confirm if you have a Powow meter (Energy Gateway).
- Your property has reliable and stable internet with Wifi enabled
- You agree to the Powow VPP terms and conditions.
*$1/kWh VPP credit payments available to Powow VPP customers with a Hinen or Sigenergy Battery and Powow meter installed. (Earn $1 per kWh whenever your battery is discharged during a VPP event. Payments are credited quarterly, once you’re registered and actively participating in VPP events)

An NMI (National Metering identifier) is a unique 10 or 11-digit number attributed to each electricity connection in Australia. You can find your NMI on your electricity bill – usually with your account details on the first page
Simply look for a sticker on the right hand side of your inverter. At the bottom of this sticker you will see a barcode with a long number underneath. This is your inverters’ serial number (S/N). (E.g. S/N: H5000XXXXXXXXXX)
Simply look for SN Number located on the underside of the meter next to a QR code. Alternatively if you cannot see the underside of the meter, press the top curved arrow button on your meter three times until ‘settings’ is highlighted on the display. Then press the upward facing chevron arrow once, followed by the curved arrow button once to bring up the version info screen which has the serial number displayed.
